Creation of ETL routes for filling the financial data warehouse of ElipsLife. The tables of the data warehouse are filled first in the stage area and then, after the transformation, in the data volume data warehouse area. Both the stage database and the data warehouse are filled by calling up stored functions that have been implemented in T-SQL. Since the data warehouse is a data vault schema, the tables in the data warehouse are filled according to exact rules. Only one statement is provided for filling the hubs, links or satellites. All three are always filled in the same way, only the names of tables and attributes change. The task is to write dynamic stored procedures for filling these tables, to test them, to document them and to integrate them into the system. The development is implemented using Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and Microsoft T-SQL. Some functionalities are implemented using Microsoft SSIS packages; these are also tested and documented.
- Development of DWH load procedures using SQL Server.
- Load the DWH tables.
- Implementation of the STAR and VAULT scheme.
- Creation of the ETL processes (stage).
- Modeling the schemas based on the business requirements.
- Clarifications with the business.
- Loading data from the SAP.
- Data refinement and data mapping.
